The AVR-4810CI, a next-generation 9.3 channel multi-zone A/V receiver offers high-quality distribution of audio and video throughout the home. The nine built-in amplifier channels, each rated at a robust 140 watts, can be configured for unprecedented flexibility and support for high-definition audio and video performance from all digital sources. The multi-mono block amp construction ensures top audio fidelity, and the Free Assign amp configuration function allows maximum system configuration flexibility. The amplifiers can be assigned for 9.3 channel surround sound, or a 7.1 channel system in the “main” room and power a pair of speakers in a second “zone”. Ethernet connectivity opens up your AV system to host of exciting capabilities like audio and jpeg photo streaming and Internet radio. Additionally, subscription music services like Rhapsody and Napster are supported. For video connectivity, it is equipped with 1080p compatible HDMI 1.3a Repeating technology. This HDMI connectivity supports the latest generation surround sound formats available on Blu-ray disc. DSX (Dynamic Surround Expansion adds front height and/or width channels to expand the soundstage. Audyssey Dynamic Volume is an automatic volume-leveling system that tracks audio dynamics to eliminate the irritating volume swings between TV shows and commercials. Video conversion is accomplished using a premium Anchor Bay Technologies 2010 chip set featuring 10-bit multi-cadence processing. It also features component video switching, seven analog inputs, and multi-zone (3)/multi-source (3) capability. In addition to conventional inputs, the it has front and rear USB.
